This sophisticated shade of sage green is showing up everywhere.
At the start of every year, paint companies and interior designers throw out their best guesses for the colors that are destined to become the most popular.
For 2018, Pantone predicted that Ultra Violet, a vivid shade of purple, would reign supreme, while Sherwin-Williams expected Oceanside, a rich jewel-toned blue, to make it big.
But while plenty of predictions have been made, there’s one color that’s been reappearing on Instagram, design blogs, and DIY projects again and again this year: a sophistication shade of sage green.
A nature-inspired hue that works well with a variety of decor styles, from Scandinavian minimalist to trendy modern, this color looks amazing in almost every space.
If you’re planning any upcoming paint projects, whether a full room or just refinishing an old dresser, check out the images below for all the inspiration (and coordinating paint picks) you’ll need to get it done.

They paired the color with matte black hardware, but you could also add shiny brass to brighten up the piece.
